The Social Concerns Committee was organized to do some of the Lord’s work by responding to the needs of our extended community. Our endeavors include four major projects each year: the Giving Tree at Christmas time; a collection of hats, socks and mittens in the winter; a “baby shower” in the spring; and donations of school supplies in August. These gifts and donations are distributed to the Homeless Shelter, the Adopt a Family Program, Mother House, Gabriel House and some individual schools in the Boulder and Lafayette area. The committee meets approximately four times a year to organize these projects. For additional information consult the weekly bulletin or contact the parish during office hours.
